Having worked in the Finance industry for years I decided it was time for a change. I was working long hours drained in a role which was no longer supporting my purpose. It was 2008 and the banks were going through a crisis which gave me the optimal push I needed to listen to my calling. After a snowboarding accident in Switzerland my Osteopath restored my health and brought mobility back into my life so that’s how my journey with Osteopathy began. I quit my senior role in an International financial institution and pursued Osteopathy at the LSO.
In July 2014 I completed a masters in Osteopathy and a diploma in Sports massage. Throughout my patient journey I have found with most symptoms and pathologies one must work globally and holistically in order to make an effective change to find solutions to the underlying source of pain.
I have enjoyed movement from the age of 5 where I found a love for running and Martial arts. As an adult I have always enjoyed movement whether it be running a half marathon, practicing yoga or travelling to the dolomites for a snowboarding venture. Movement has always taught me to embrace pain and become part of my healing journey. This value has taught me discipline which has been an important facet.
Throughout my creative approach my objective is to eliminate general accumulation of toxic waste and to work with you and create a personalised treatment programme. We would like to restore areas in the axial structures of the body which may have become dysfunctional through postural strains, stress, and traumas. We then work through the musculature and fascia to bring you back to your homeostatic health. Mindfulness is just as important as physical health so we intend to balance your central nervous system through techniques such as diaphragmatic breathing, functional movement and cranial treatment. Wellness is a huge base to cover and to achieve holistic vibrance we need more than just one approach.
